Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups rolled oats
- ½ cup cashew butter (or almond butter)
- ¼ cup + 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 4 scoops ViCera Unflavored A2 Protein (or, you could use our Vanilla Crème A2 Protein and omit the vanilla extract)
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- Pinch of ground cloves
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1–2 tbsp water, as needed for texture
Instructions
- Mix the base. In a large bowl, combine oats, protein powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and sea salt. Stir until evenly mixed.
- Add the wet ingredients. Add cashew butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until a thick dough forms. If the mixture feels too dry, add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until it holds together easily.
- Roll it up. Use your hands or a small cookie scoop to roll the dough into bite-sized balls (about 1–1.5 inches).
- Chill and enjoy. Place on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 15–20 minutes to set. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
